Babuchaa – Returns & Exchanges Policy
Effective Date: 30 April 2025
At Babuchaa, we’re committed to helping you feel confident and comfortable in every shift. If your order isn’t quite right, we’re here to make the return or exchange process as simple and transparent as possible.
1. How to Initiate a Return or Exchange
To begin a return or exchange:
- Email us at contact@babuchaa.com.au
- Include your order number and a brief explanation of the issue or item(s) you wish to return or exchange.
- Our support team will provide return instructions and the return shipping address.
Note: Please wait for our confirmation before returning any items.
2. Return Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for a return or exchange, the following conditions must be met:
- Return request is submitted within 30 days of the delivery date.
- Items are unworn, unwashed, and in original condition.
- All tags and packaging must be intact and included.
- The item is not marked Final Sale, Clearance, or Non-Returnable.
We reserve the right to decline returns that do not meet these criteria.
3. Refunds
- Refunds are processed to the original payment method.
- Once we receive and inspect your return, please allow 5–10 business days for the refund to appear, depending on your payment provider.
- Shipping costs are non-refundable unless the return is due to a faulty or incorrect item.
4. Exchanges
- Exchanges are accepted within 30 days of delivery, subject to availability.
- If the replacement item is out of stock or priced differently, we may offer:
- A store credit for the item value, or
- A full refund (if preferred and eligible).
- Exchange shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, unless the item is faulty or we sent the wrong item.
5. Faulty or Incorrect Items
If you’ve received an item that is:
- Defective
- Incorrect
- Damaged upon arrival
Please contact us immediately at contact@babuchaa.com.au with:
- Your order number
- A description of the issue
- Clear photos (if applicable)
We will assess the situation in accordance with Australian Consumer Law. If the item is found to be faulty, we will offer a repair, replacement, or full refund, including return shipping costs.
Claims made outside the 30-day window may still be reviewed if the product fault meets the criteria for a major issueunder Australian Consumer Law.
6. Final Sale & Non-Returnable Items
The following items are not eligible for return or exchange:
- Final Sale or Clearance items
- Underwear or base layers (for hygiene reasons)
- Gift cards or digital vouchers
- Customised or embroidered garments
7. Return Shipping Instructions
- Return shipping is at the customer’s expense unless the item is faulty or incorrect.
- We recommend using a tracked shipping method, as Babuchaa is not responsible for lost or delayed returns.
- Items must be securely packaged to avoid damage during transit.
